We go about our lives unaware of the myriad of traumatic events that unfold across the country on a daily basis, subconsciously hoping that such incidents will never directly affect us, the things that we deny cannot harm us.

Abandoned for so many years, its heart truly hidden from view, only the splendour of a grand curving façade to hint at a former glory, the hoardings that pledge funding to protect this place and return it to a time long forgotten are as faded as its walls.

…this body of work is anonymous, there are no identities portrayed, either of places, individuals or religions, the crematorium could be anywhere, it is intentionally generic in its presentation, this work is not about identity with anybody other than ones self and our subsequent mortality, our journey to dust.
